Extreme climate fluctuations are increasing the risk of diseases and infectious outbreaks due to lowered immunity in animals, as well as negatively impacting reproduction rates. Conditions such as poor pasture growth are creating a harsh environment for livestock. By monitoring animal behavior, IoT technology is expected to improve productivity—for example, by enabling the early detection and treatment of health issues or injuries, and by guiding animals to pastures with better growth conditions.
