Forests are a precious global asset; however, large-scale deforestation and loss due to fires have become significant social issues recently. The reduction of forests contributes to landslides, and forest fires pose a threat to our daily lives. Furthermore, carbon dioxide absorption by forests is essential for mitigating global warming. IoT technology is expected to be utilized to protect healthy forests by managing the quantity and quality of trees and by detecting early signs of natural disasters.
